Helen Chong is the Founder and CEO of Haylen Group, an organization dedicated to high-quality real estate sales practices and helping clients achieve retirement security through savvy real estate investments. Chong is a top producer in the Bay Area whose analytical background, combined with her passion to achieve financial security, has achieved millions in equity for her clients.
Helen escaped the deadly, ethnically-driven riots of the 1998 economic crisis in Indonesia. The struggles Helen’s family faced opened her eyes to how financial difficulties changes a family dynamic and, in a larger scale, how it changes society. Helen moved to the United States from Hong Kong by herself when she was 18 years old, in search of opportunity. The experience she gathered, learning to survive in a foreign country by herself, motivated her to explore ways to change her destiny by altering her mindset.
Helen Chong is now the proud wife of an Iraq War Veteran, a mother of three children and an author. She is also a real estate investor, speaker and an avid volunteer. Despite her busy schedule, she and her husband maintain a strict routine so they can remain to be involved parents and enjoy dinner with their children mostly every night. She is currently writing a book detailing her experiences as an immigrant, minority, business woman, and working mother in hopes to inspire others who would like to succeed despite of any perception of “inferior” status.
