Scott Cullather is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of INVNT®, the global live brand storytelling agency ™. A recognized industry leader, over the last 30 years he has led teams in the design, production, and execution of hundreds of large-scale B2B and B2C brand experiences in over 40 countries, for dozens of the world’s leading brands, companies and trade organizations.
Under Scott’s leadership, the multi-award-winning agency has redefined the way organizations communicate to their employees, customers, journalists and business partners, effectively changing the way they think, feel, behave and perform®.
A passionate philanthropist, Scott is actively involved in many charitable organizations, most notably the Chris Carrino Foundation for FSHD and the First Responders Children’s Foundation. Scott joined the latter organization’s board in 2015 and was recognized as their inaugural Corporate Hero in 2019.
Ever since the company’s inception in 2008, a business Scott co-founded with his wife, INVNT’s Chief Operating Officer, Kristina McCoobery, the goal has always been to apply a strategic and creative led approach to every project, a move that enables the agency to challenge and change the perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors of those audiences essential to client success.
With Scott at the helm, INVNT immediately challenged the core industry model, creating a true live brand storytelling agency that disrupted the traditional approach to how brand events were created, designed, budgeted, and delivered. Today INVNT has over 100 full time “INVNTrs” and operates across eight offices, five countries and four continents.
Scott is a published ForbesBooks author and public speaker. He has been extensively covered in the media, including Entrepreneur, AdWeek, Campaign, The Drum, The London Business Journal, BizBash, C&IT, PCMA Convene and Event Industry News. He regularly shares his learnings and insights through speaking engagements at various industry and non-industry events, such as Event Marketer’s Event Tech, the C&IT US Forum, regular C&IT Breakfast Briefings, MACE, PMPI, ASAE Springtime, and the Event Design Summit. He most recently delivered a presentation on the post-digital shift and how live drives all social engagement as part of George Mason University’s inaugural Mason Collective Impact Speaker Series, which addressed the overarching topic of ‘The Power and Direction of Social Media.’
